That’s a heck of a good deal. And it looks great to boot!

That is because he miscalculated the resin cost…

    He meant £18.00

      Now you’ve gone too far.

£15? I expected it to be a lot more expensive. I didn’t have plans for a naval game in 15mm, but I certainly do have now.

Happy to see casting the ship went really well, looks really smooth. That’s one great ship.

Yeah, that was an error, should be £18.00.

Still more than worth it and not too bad a price for a ship this size.

Not quite done, but getting there.

This is the basic kit, (I have decided not to supply the ropes on the hull, but the mast and spar will come all rigged as you see here) which is almost done.

Next to tidy the paintjob and add custom shizz.

Just wanted to keep you up to date.

You’ve got a very nice wood effect going there. How did you do it? Is it a stain of some sort? Looking forward to seeing it further gussied up…

Wow, that turned out so well.  I can’t believe you built a boat!

Thanks, 2 pots of similar coloured paint and my trusty Coat d’arms Super Wash Mid Brown #176
Paint inkwash, drybrush, drybrush, drybrush, paint on some individual grains etc.
Nothing special I am afraid to report.

Wow, that turned out so well. I can’t believe you built a boat!

    I am pleased too.
Already thinking of a variant that does not have the rails, but a solid cabin thing that extends along the ship a ways.

Oh and I am going to make a rowing boat that the first 10 customers get for free with the ship.

I really, really need a rowing boat 😁.

The grain in the wood really came out perfectly on your ship, looks fabulous.

Indeedlydo, and it really works for this little shipy as well.  Will the covered version be more of a merchantman, as opposed to this pirate?

Very nice esp. the one on the left.

Any plans to create generic loads that will sit in them? Maybe cloth covered lumps and bumps to start, then baskets and bottles / boxes etc?

I had not considered that, but I am now.

perhaps done in a way that it can also be used as scatter for markets, etc?  Or perhaps it IS scatter that just happens to fit inside?

Mike , you are making some very nice 15mm stuff with lots of applications. I can feel my hand moving towards my wallet.

    Sweet, especially the left one.

These inserts are a great idea, if you ever create a longer four wheel cart you can perhaps even make it big enough to fit two of those in.

So the Southern Oceans will see us moving away from the Burning Sands of the Eastern Desert.

But what will our heroes find on strange forgotten islands amongst the ruins?

Did someone say giant Ape Men?

Here is Old School Erland and some new foes.

Really nice sculpts, I like them a lot.

They’re definitely going to join my white ape collection for my upcoming Pulp exploration project.

Gotta love a suitably slathering savage ape-beast – these new figures will be hard to resist – I wonder if one could add a weapon such as a broken tree branch or club into the open hand of the ape on the right?

To me the last illustration of the black-furred beast feels the most authentic, though this is probably mainly from Frazetta’s take on Howard’s world. In any case, that’s the one I’d go with.

I’m gonna go with the white Apes, though I need a few regular black ones as well.

I don’t know, black, white. Why not the golden ape of of Zarmah?

I have noticed all the cool kids have a Ko-Fi page or a Patreon page, or some way of allowing people to send money to them.

Not wanting to miss out on such things, I have made a donate button on my shop page.

    You never know eh?
