Just watched Ong-Bak 3, to make sure I wasn’t recommending a bad film. As an actual martial arts film it’s the least memorable of the series, but still above average. More importantly, as “accidental” swords-and-sorcery inspiration it’s even better than I remember 2 being (though admittedly it’s been over 10 years since I saw that one). It’s a bit slow and mystical in places, but nonetheless full of good visual inspiration for anyone wanting to do swords-and-sorcery adventures in a southeast Asian milieu. It even has the actual sorcery in it.09/07/2020 at 10:51 #13998609/07/2020 at 11:45 #139987Thorsten FrankParticipant

I know I’m a right technophobe and all but what in hell’s teeth is a Keen page? It looks like some sort of e-scrap book with “stuff” on it, your case CA.13/07/2020 at 18:46 #140261
It is Googles version of Pinterest, but it has an AI that searches the net for things it thinks you may like and suggests them for you.
So rather than you just storing things you find online, it is that with suggestions.13/07/2020 at 19:06 #140262
Doing 4 more jungle scatter bases and 3 small bits.
Just waiting on the glue to dry and seal the scatter, then onto the leafage and bushage and tuftage etc, which is by far the best bit of it all.13/07/2020 at 19:57 #140264ThomastonParticipant

How will they get inside with the stone blocking the doorways???
That is just a support to hold the door in place.
With all the filler slapped over it, it would get on the door.
So I put the door on later, however pushing the door into the doorway would mean it just falls over, so I will push it against the block which will hold it in place.

A rough coating of the filler which is sanded and then another smoother coating which will be sanded in the morning..23/07/2020 at 19:14 #140958

It’s the only way! Not a fan of playable interiors.23/07/2020 at 19:19 #140961
I find that:
A: The gap in the roof, the crack, however hairline is off putting.
B: The model people are not to scale (they are just representations of people) so actual to scale furniture would look too small, and furniture made to fit in with the unproportioned figures would not fit in that footprint.
C: The bases on the figures would get in the way of furniture and all that anyway.23/07/2020 at 19:23 #140962
Completely agree. If I have to have the inside playable I don’t bother with roofs at all.23/07/2020 at 22:26 #140971Thorsten FrankParticipant

Mike, if Rhoderic is right on this one you should think about the “for private use only”. You know that a palace or villa for Yassi is on my wishlist.
