I had a go at refighting the 82nd Airborne’s delaying action at Neuville using the WRG 1925-50 rules. I re-themed it to a British platoon defending (I don’t own US in 6mm and I was missing some bits for a 15mm set-up) but otherwise kept it pretty close, from a scenario published back in Miniature Wargames 50: http://hereticalgaming.blogspot.co.uk/2017/09/blocking-action-at-neuville-6th-june.html
I have not seen WRG used in a long time for WW2.
They’re pretty sound if you have non-exploitative rule gap players.

I have my copy on the shelf but I only ever played one or two intro games a very long time ago. Interestingly when I search for “WRG WW2 rules solo ” the first post I find is a link to Whirlwinds blog so I might spend a little while seeing what is possible.
Thanks
Yet another great AAR from an article I remember from when MW was good.
Thanks very much, I am glad you liked it
