    Folks:

I played a remote miniatures game using Skype and a web-cam. The game was run with “Banana Wars”, a system I am developing for the “Application of Force” site (http://www.applicationofforce.com) which does computerized apps for running miniatures games.

    The AAR is here: http://hmwrs.com/LastYankAAR.htm

It was fun – US and Brits against warlord Chinese, bandits, and Japanese soldiers (and some really nasty wildlife). I love “American colonials” even though mostly people focus on the Brits.

    Cheers,

    A. Gregory

Sounds like it was a very fun game!  Lots of crazy goings on!

Recently found out my grandfather was on the Yankze on the eve of WW2 (his gunboat was sunk off Corrigador and he was a POW for 5 years) and i am sure he had some great stories that I wish I could have heard.  Though probably not as dragon filled as this one!
