The last of the big ships in the Trafalgar collection are complete with the addition of these three British three-deckers.

In this post I take a look at these last additions and the game planning around using them on a rather large table, together with additions to the collection going forward.

With lockdown restrictions pending in the wake of vaccine roll out, its fun looking forward to being able to test the ideas and get back around a table.

Hi, What a fantastic project – hugely impressed.  Sorry if this is referred to in earlier posts on your blog, but where did you get the clear bases from?  I have been looking for something similar for my 1:600 WW2 coastal forces, and these look like they would suit perfectly.

Not sure if they are the ones used here but Warbases have clear acrylic ones here

    Hi Chaps,

    Thanks for your comments.

The bases I use are covered in this post from the blog, just scroll down to the bottom for the various dimensions

Thanks – can you just explain how many bases you actually get for your money?  The website is a bit confusing, talking about 3 (or more) sprues, but it may be that you get one sprue with three bases (I’m looking at the largest ones).  Sorry to be a pain.

    Hi Brendan,

No problem, yes the large bases come in three to a sprue.

    Hope that helps
