So I haven’t been painting since before the holiday.  I have a stack of hwa (flower) circular 7 well porcelain palettes that I run through as I go.

It appears the silverfish dig tight porcelain crevices too.  As I worked my way down, I found two cups full of dead silverfish and plenty of detritus in others. Hate to think what else they’ve gotten into…

Remarkable little animals, they seem to have a bit of a sweet tooth and thrive on polysaccharides (whatever they are) which are contained in some paints.

Need an Attenborough accent for this stuff.

'The time has come" The walrus said. "To talk of many things: Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--Of cabbages--and kings--And why the sea is boiling hot--And whether pigs have wings."

    Sane Max

I quite like them, industrious, rather cute and mostly harmless.

A work colleagues neighbour rented their house out and as a result got bedbugs (they came in through the god-damn walls!) now THAT was a nightmare.
