Hi, I’ve start to build a spaceship but not the whole, What I want to achieve is create interior to play with 6mm figures.
Here some pictures; waiting feedback.25/07/2016 at 13:10 #45358
I love it!
The details, all the little consoles and computerscreens… ….very well done.
Are these going to be for sale or is it a private project?
Either way really looking forward to seeing how this develops.

It looks even better painted Ali, that’s a great piece, no doubt!01/08/2016 at 17:17 #45709
Continues where it left.01/08/2016 at 18:49 #45711
Cool stuff, also a nice preview of what is to come.
Might I suggest some kind of bulckhead piece with an airlock to place between the various segments.

Yup, airlocks and gates will be. I believe they are very important part of feeling the spaceship.03/08/2016 at 06:24 #45783
These are great pieces Ali, I’m sure the finished ship will be exellent!03/08/2016 at 18:20 #45809
‘Airlocks and bulkheads’-especially if they also had ladders and hatches to indicate access to crawl spaces ,other decks or spaaaace………or maybe a lift/elevator?

Both ‘concepts’ look good! Thanks for sharing the thought process.

Yes sure 🙂
Do not hesitate to give interesting ideas too. Space is so vast and we need things inside 🙂09/08/2016 at 18:47 #4618109/08/2016 at 18:52 #4618209/08/2016 at 19:09 #46188Darkest Star GamesParticipant
Really cool! If you ever have trouble thinking of a layout, there was an old PC game called “Breach 3”, and part of the game is boarding actions. Lots of ship designs, and not a bad game to boot!

That is awesome! Reminds me of playing Snapshot with 15s on ship plans but much more manageable and 3d to boot.
Edit: What Gary Said!09/08/2016 at 23:48 #46210
Thanks for Breach 3 🙂10/08/2016 at 07:46 #46213
One of the visitors of the spaceship. Varzogs! Alien warrior race.10/08/2016 at 08:17 #46218
Those guys look really cool in the “flesh”!10/08/2016 at 16:32 #46246

These are looking really good – can’t wait to see how the ship’s crew sculpts turn out. Are you working on more corridor sections, intersections and rooms too?10/08/2016 at 20:40 #46257
Ok, I’m not sure about my sense of humour.10/08/2016 at 20:41 #46258
Yes, more corridor and rooms will be, I’m just out of material right now 🙂10/08/2016 at 21:45 #4627310/08/2016 at 21:49 #4627510/08/2016 at 21:52 #46276
Yeah :), So far my best work I guess.10/08/2016 at 22:15 #46281
Any idea as to a price point for a full space ship set?
If you like small scale skirmish, check out http://planetares6.blogspot.be/?m=010/08/2016 at 23:54 #46285
I’m thinking something like this. What do you say ?Length 45 cm. This set just an idea how things can be. Not a certain set btw.11/08/2016 at 17:07 #46351Angel BarracksModerator
Now here is the thing…
When I saw $70.00 I shouted HOW MUCH??
Then I thought, hold on, what is that in quid?
£50.00 HOW MUCH??
You can buy an entire swanky boardgame for that.
But then I had a look at it.
That is a fair old chunk of resin.
It is about the same, maybe more than 5 of my OKI wall sets which would cost you £50.00.
It is a reasonable price, but it initially seemed a lot as a bit of my mind, sees one item (the ship) and thinks $70.00 for one item.
But it is a massive item with lots of bits.11/08/2016 at 17:28 #46352PatGParticipant
If you price it out as modules, it’s less painful. Bridge, engine room and one corridor = $26 – and you can expand from there.12/08/2016 at 00:33 #46375
