Hey folks, I’m new to these forums and will probably be spending most of my time in the 15mm sci-fi board, but I was wondering if there were any fellow fans of the classic i-kore game Void 1.1 here. I’m one of the people who runs the Void 1.1 Nexus facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/224862621250610/) and I just wanted to make sure other veteran Void players were aware of 1) the very active fan community we have over on FB and 2) all the cool stuff that’s been happening with Void recently (developer Q&As, new models & rules in the works, etc.). Just in case you don’t do facebook, here’s the link to Void’s new home:

For those of you who aren’t familiar with it, Void is a roughly platoon scale 28mm sci-fi skirmish game. If that isn’t enough info for you, go to Seb Games and download the rules & army lists – they’re all free, no registration required
I’ve only played Void once, and it’s great to know it still has fans pushing it forwards.
"I saw this in a cartoon once, but I'm pretty sure I can do it..."
gahh I love your 15mm ranges! It shouldn’t surprise me that you’re familiar with Void – to paraphrase Jiro Ono, “To make great miniatures, you must play with great miniatures.”
Man, now I’m looking at the spec-sec response team and thinking they’d be great VASA suppressors for 15mm void
I grow fonder of the original Void miniatures with every passing year. I like how they look a bit “retro”/”vintage” now (in terms of sculpting style more than the general sci-fi/sci-fantasy concepts they represent). I also like the vague 2000AD vibes I get from them. They definitely look like something out of a comic book sci-fi universe, and that’s fun.
I have a bunch of them and intend to get more. I might or might not use the actual ruleset, and I’m not terribly interested in the official setting, but in any case I want to game with the miniatures in a way that captures the general feel that Void 1.1 is going for.
In the interest of having it be a self-contained project, I’m drawn to the idea of either a Junkers-Koralon match-up, because together they imply a very gritty setting, or a Syntha-Koralon match-up, for the “robots versus bugs” contrast.
