Hi all
I just completed a 6mm (1/300th) scale Arnhem bridge model from The Baggage Train, based this old photo.
You can see the model and construction details here.

Cheers

PS: the old photo is a fake in case you didn’t realise. I was mucking around with various GIMP features to create it.

Very nice, of course from you it would be.
Those ramps are extra sweet, were you tempted to make it as one piece so it has no visible joins?
No, the bridge is almost 1m long and difficult enough to store. The joins wouldn’t be so bad if I had made the supports the same height as the ramps, but i made them taller (so I can use it with a river on terrain boards).

A beautifully constructed model, cheers for sharing.
