A belated report of a game played over a week ago is here.
It's never too late to have a happy childhood
Looks and sounds like a great game and I must see if I can pick the book up at a show in a few weeks time…
Good show!
Having no French nor Austrian couldn’t play this, but it has always thought its a very interesting battle.
Hmm, no French? Hard to play most Napoleonic battles. You could use similar figures. I’ve had Prussians stand in for Russians on occasion. My 1756-1761 Prussians have pretended to be 1806 Prussians, since they’re closer in spirit than my 1812-1815 guys.
I figure, better close relatives than say using WWII troops.
I once used ACW figures to test AWI rules. A purchase and some paint cleared that up.

Love the summary: “All agreed the game was a howl, and the situation unlike anything we’ve played before. Kudos to the designer. ” Thanks for a great report!
For anyone else tempted to try the scenario, it’s in “Napoleon’s Bloody Big Battles!“.
