Check the thread below for the AAR of Loughton Strike Force’s Hill 112 game at SELWG 2014.

British infantry supported by Churchills and Shermans assault the German defensive positions on and around Hill 112 in Normandy.

Rules used were PanzerGrenadier Deluxe WW2 rules.

    That is really very nice.
It reminds me of the inspirational terrain that GW used to publish 20 years or so ago in their products, the kind of stuff you dreamed your table would look like.
Proper sloped hills, sunken trenches, flames and smoke and Churchills!

    David Brown:

What scale are the figures and vehicles? The board looks fantastic and the terrain is outstanding. But why are your crocodiles belching pyro-plastic flows of lava? ; ) Really an excellent job and I commend you. Bravo!

    Rob,

It’s all 15mm scale, from Battlefront, (even the very early Pre-FoW kits), Peter Pig, Skytrex and Old Glory.

You’re not the first to comment on the “lava” effect – we bought them ready made – I think designed for 28mm infantry flamethrowers – perhaps we need to add more flame next time!

Lovely looking table and seems like a cracking game.
