    Hello all!

Appreciate I wasn’t going to do this, but I’m back at work Monday, so I thought I would quickly post some entries on my blog about my attempts at AWI campaigns before I return to the daily grind. There are no hard and fast rules as such, more a rambling narrative with some ideas cribbed from rough notes I made at the time, but it may inspire you to give the thing a go yourself.

Link below… Please feel free to share, steal, copy, whatever! 😉

Only semi-related. Have you seen that Rick Atkinson, the author of the ‘Army at Dawn’ trilogy on the US Army in WW2 has issued a first volume on the AWI? An excellent read and pretty good inspiration for a campaign.

Not heard of that but will give it a go – just been through my two-volume Ward history again, so could do with something new! Cheers!

Blame Joker from this forum for starting all this. I was quite happily doing Napoleonics… 😁

    I’ll second Rick Atkinson’s book.
