I received my Blue Moon 18mm AWI figures from Scale Creep Miniatures today and would like some help finding out what uniform colors they wore. The Rebel figures are mostly in Hunting Shirts while the British in 68 warrant coats. Any help would be welcome.
You can find useful guides to AWI uniforms on the Baccus miniatures site: https://www.baccus6mm.com/PaintingGuides/AWI/
There are also Charles Lefferts’ uniform plates, which I think are generally regarded as fairly reliable. They can be found here: http://www.srcalifornia.com/uniforms/uindex.htm
Thank you, for the links General Slade.
My pleasure kyoteblue. If you get into the period and want to get some books on the subject then I recommend Uniforms of the American Revolution by Mollo and McGregor. It has got lovely illustrations and though it was published back in the 70s it seems to have stood the test of time. And if you want something more up-to-date in terms of scholarship then Don Troiani’s Soldiers of the American Revolution is a delight to look at.

Ditto for Mollo and McGregor.
Were you looking for any particular units?

If I was going to get just one book for AWI uniforms, I’d probably get Mollo if only for cost effectiveness.

I’ll see if I can get the Mollo book. Thanks, everyone.
