Tried to log in about half an hour ago and got the following message
“You Are Banned, If You feel this is an error please e-mail me.”
Glitch in the Matrix?
I’m clearly unbanned now.
Also, the message has no email details and if you’re banned you can’t check the forum for one. If it’s for real it really ought to include contact details.

You should change your flavor test to:
I was banned from the Wargames Website and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.
I noticed there was a lot of spam recently.
06/11/2018 at 19:44 #103378MikeKeymasterhmmmm odd, sorry about that.
I have banned a lot of Russian IP addresses recently due to the flood of spam.
The only thing I can think of, other than a wonky server here, would be if you have a VPN or hyper active dynamic IP or maybe using TOR or something that will change your IP and maybe assign you one that falls into the range of banned IP’s?
Whatever the reason, terribly sorry. 🙁I have added an e-mail to the banned message.
06/11/2018 at 23:40 #103421Who Asked This JokerParticipantWell if you got banned, clearly you did something bad. Here’s a little music to go along with your “banning”. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUjUz_QEh48

07/11/2018 at 14:10 #103438MikeKeymasterSo I am trialling a bit of software that is aimed at blocking iffy registrations.
Hotmail, outlook and gmail are popular spammer e-mail providers but clearly they are also used by regular peeps.
The new software has a way around this and so far has blocked known spammers that use these e-mail addresses, which is aces.
If all goes well over the free trial period I will consider purchasing it for TWW.07/11/2018 at 14:50 #103439Hafen von SchlockenbergParticipantWell, it’s understandable, especially when you were offline a couple of weeks ago, and I thought I’d accidentally logged on to Pornhub. That needed a big broom, and it’s not surprising some actual members got swept up.
But yeah, good idea putting the email address on the banned message. I know it appears on the site somewhere, but it takes a bit of searching.
I hope the new software works out; otherwise, it’s back to:

Tinypic is “unsecured”? Yipe!
Is that a change? It used to work. Guess I’ll have to try to follow your upload directions.
I’m pretty slow, though.

Not sure, I became aware of one site a few months back that is https, but the links then redirect to a plain old http site, which struck me as being very poor on their part.

Way back when, some sites used HTTP for most things but HTTPS for sensitive bits like login pages. I haven’t seen that done for at least ten years, though. Back then, most servers struggled to serve HTTPS, so it made sense, but that’s rarely the case nowadays.
08/11/2018 at 17:17 #103505Harry FavershamBlockedHappened to me a couple of week ago. Sent an e-mail to this address and all was well within the hour.
