Last Thursday the Wollongong Wargamers played one of John Geer’s small engagement scenarios using Sam Mustafa’s ‘Longstreet’ rules… Given the size of the scenario we had time to play the scenario through twice, which was just as well for my dwindling self esteem, as I got handed my *rse is short order in the first game but managed to win the second. Playing Union in 1861 is a tough call, especially when the Rebs play the ‘Pinkerton duff intel’ card or whatever its called, and nix your about to be stellar battle winning charge….

Still, much fun and excitement was had by all….More on Kaptain Kobold’, CSA,’s blog here:http://hordesofthethings.blogspot.com.au/2014/11/the-battle-of-boonville-17th-june-1861.html
