I like to present something a bit different than the other games happening on our Game Days. This War of Jenkin’s Ear scenario seemed liked a good pick. This was loosely based on the scenario from Chris Stoesen’s supplement for Sharp Practice. For the Game Day I made it a 4 person 15mm game with 2 Spanish and 2 Crown players. The battle is basically an ambush of the Spanish troops who were advancing on Ft Frederica on St Simon’s Island on the coast of the Georgia colony. How often do you get to have Highlanders, Redcoats, Native Americans and a colorful variety of Spanish fighting around a marsh?
