    My latest blog update covers the NWS refight of the 1866 battle of Lissa, which took place on the Croatian island of Vis (the current name for Lissa), just a few miles from the site pf the action……

    I’ve been enjoying ‘Broadside and Ram’ and just playing around with adding ACW. Have you ever considered whether the American ironclads would fit in the ratings? The monitors and casement ironclads would be, I believe, tougher targets but offensively weaker and much less handy.

    Never wrestle with a pig. You both get muddy and the pig just likes it.

    Yes, ‘d be looking at decent DFs in the 4-6 region, but lower AFs, generally 2-3
