I recently played the Battle of the River Thatis – dynastic issues with brother Vs brother. I had not heard of it before. It is from the series of battles (this is number 30) I am doing by replaying the historical scenarios from the Peter Sides booklets. I am using my own rules and playing on a 2’x2′ table. This was supposed to be one of the 11 battles I was trying to play by the end of November. This is only the sixth of the 11 I had planned, so obviously it did not work out as expected. I am still playing through the games I wanted to play in November, albeit slower. It may take until at least the end of February at the rate I am going!
