The fourth game to feature at last month’s meeting of the DWG was a 15mm Hail Caesar game recreating the Battle of Saguntum fought during the Roman civil war between Marius and Sulla.

If you would like to know more about the battle and how the game unfolded then just follow the link to the club blog.

    Lovely looking game as always.

Terrific historical background, battle report and pics! It’s always good to see massive 15mm armies on the table.

Just an excellent AAR. Good backgrounds and descriptions plus it looks really terrific.

Never wrestle with a pig. You both get muddy and the pig just likes it.

That’s the purpose of 15mm… lots of figures on the table. “Robust chat around a drum circle…” Hehehe.

Spectacular figures, mass battles, mercilessly mocking our friends on the other side of the table – and that is why we wargame!    Tremendous  report, very amusing!

Thank you all for your kind comments, I have passed them on to the blog editor in the hope that I might get a pay rise or at the very least he gets the round in for once.
