Boring practical question: What are the best webstores for laser-cut bases in the UK/EU?

If they also carry other useful things I can order at the same time, such as paints, brushes and plastic bases, that’s a plus.

I’m also wondering if anyone (even outside the EU) makes laser-cut bases out of any 3mm material as opposed to the usual 2mm MDF. Usually I’d prefer 2mm, but I want to rebase my newly acquired Inquisitor figures and as they come with pegs under their feet, thicker bases would hold them more robustly.

Off the top of my head, the best vendors I can think of are Minibits and East Riding Miniatures, but neither carries 3mm bases (if that’s a thing that exists anywhere at all).

Martin at Warbases has been kind to me in the past.

    They offer 3mm too.

That could work. I’ve heard the name before but never checked it out. I see they also have some of that MiniNatur foliage I like playing around with, and their spaceship corridors might just suit some of my purposes without breaking the bank. Ooh, and some interesting 28mm figures, too.

I buy loads of Warbases for my 15mm stuff.  I like the black edges on the sides of the bases-a by-product of the laser cutting I think.  I go to ERM for terrain bases.  Good service from both outfits too.

I get mine from Leon and co at Pendraken/ Minibits. He’s cut a number of odd shapes for me, so if they don’t list what you’re after you can ask if they can do a custom job.

    Great company to deal with.

More votes for ERM and Warbases.

Had excellent service from both. ERM have made ‘odd’ sizes for me in the past.

Tony at ERM has been very helpful and has a time machine which cuts, packs and delivers your order before you’ve sent it in, or so it seems to me.

Warbases are great for 3mm thick bases and also for unusual shapes / sizes / materials

Minibits do very nice dice frames and hex bases, as well as some very precise, neat cutting.

Warbases gets my vote and Minibits for the stuff WB don’t do.

I love the smell of burnt wood in the morning.

    Warbases are great, so are:

    Supreme Littleness – http://www.supremelittleness.co.uk/

    Charlie Foxtrot – https://www.charliefoxtrotmodels.com/

    Blotz – http://blotz.co.uk/index.php

I’ve used all 4 at various times via mail order and had no problems with any of them.  I believe that Charlie Foxtrot, Blotz & Warbases are all at Colours if you wanted to see before you buy.
