Hi Guys.  First post on this spiffy new forum (woo hoo!) Er, anyway … very general question (that’s probably been answered elsewhere but what the heck…)

I haven’t had any experience with the Black Powder rules yet, and now with the Rebellion release I’m extremely tempted. My collections, as meagre as they are, are all 15mm in this era. Do the rules work for this size, or easy to convert?

    Thanks.

I use the rules for my 15mm collections. I just change all distances from inches to centimetres and they work fine

Yes what Neil said – use centrimetres instead of inches – easy as! And of course there is a whole section in the rules on base sizes etc with 15mm figures.

Although I have found, for some reason, that in 15mm the command radii for your generals become even more critical and it can be a really difficult decision on where to put your generals!

I agree the shortened command radius becomes very critical when placing your commanders.

Yep plays fine. We just use 2/3 or 1/2 measurements depending on the period. In my opinion it plays better that way as you effectively increase table depth.

Played it in 10mm (cms instead of inches) 20 and 28mm without a problem so 15mm won’t be a problem.

BP is totally good in 15mm and 10mm and any other mm. It’s adaptable for all horse and musket style games and have seen it stretch from ECW (before the Warlord rules came out) and even WW1.

    It's me
