A glaring gap in my library is anything decent on the Bulgarians in the war. Ideally something that goes into detail about the army itself as well as the campaigns it fought in.
I have a couple books on Salonika but I am looking for something that is specifically Bulgarian focused.
Any suggestions?

Starting off the things I am very unfamiliar with ….
Bulgarian Air Force
- https:em.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulgarian_Air_Force
Started with a Balloon Platoon but quickly grew to contain aircraft
- Air Power of the Kingdom of Bulgaria, author Dimitar Nedialkov, publisher Fark OOD, Sofia 2001 (google both to get an idea of content and also sellers). Books are a mixture of Bulgarian and English
Volume I (1906-Pre WW1), (available free on Internet Archive)
Volume II (WW1)Bulgarian Navy
- https:em.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulgarian_Navy
Possibly just light elements (torpedo boats) and landing craft.
Based on both the Danube and the Mediterranean

Great War Spearhead also has full OBs down to company/battery level, while Ellis lists all the divisions and where they fought. Haythornthwaite includes stuff on the navy.

I will give both First World War, and Balkan War sources
1) THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE BULGARIAN SENIOR MILITARY LEADERSHIP IN
WORLD WAR I: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE BULGARIAN ARMY
OPERATIONS AT DOBRO POLE AND DOIRAN IN 1918Available here
https://apps.dtic.mil/sti/tr/pdf/ADA563176.pdf2) Balkan Breakthrough: The Battle of Dobro Pole 1918
RICHARD C. HALLIndiana University Press
3) Bulgarian Artillery , a must resource
https://www.bulgarianartillery.it/4) Béla K. Király, Dimitrije Djordjević, East Central European Society and the Balkan Wars, Social Science Monographs, 1987
5) Both the Hall and Hooton histories of the Blakan Wars are useful.
6) There is an Osprey type company in Bulgaria that produced Men at Arms type books, but I have no idea how once can get ahold of them
7) You can register for free in JSTOR and that opens up a lot of their repository to you. That might include further scholarly articles.
That is about it to be frank. There are of course the usual Ospreys. Frankly the Bulgarian Artillery site is the best set of sources in English.
