I got the first two games in Saturday, but have only the first posted so far. Let’s just say it did not go as well for NATO, not a disaster, but not a walk in the park. Stay tuned!

Jesus, Jozi, change te font on your blog! It’s a bloody nightmare to read, especially on a small screen!

I like the asset cards Jozi, no chance you could put them online somewhere?
Also I liked the F-117 strike 😛16/03/2015 at 22:37 #19817Just JackParticipant
Wow!!! You’re stuff looks really awesome; here I can remember when you were tossing out unflocked bases and everything 😉 Looks fantastic now, love the bases with NATO symbology, love the Cobras, and I love the carded-up assets you made (are those available anywhere? If so, I need to swipe’em, they’re super cool).
The good ol’ US of A seemed to do alright in the first game, what gives? If you keep having the Yanks win poor Ivan’s gonna refund your money and ask for his rules back 😉 Hurry up man, I need to see what’s got NATO rocked back on their heels.
And how are you playing these? Is your wife still OPFOR, or are you playing solo? Take care, and I’m looking forward to more.
Oh, and quit being a sissy! Five games!? Five games is not a campaign, Sir, you need at least twelve 😉 Then you’re going to need to bring in the BAOR and West Germans, French once it comes to that. And don’t forget USMC in Norway on the northern flank.

Much better, Jozi! Thank you!

Good morning! Thank for all the feedback!
@Thaddeus: I did not think I changed anything on the blog, were you viewing it on a mobile device the first time? If so, I can fiddle with the template to make it more readable. Glad you cans ee it ok now.
@Jack: I played these solo while my wife worked on lesson plans (she is a teacher), an don’t worry, game 2 turned out very differently… I’ll try to get it posted tonight. Just a small spoiler, 1/44 Armor gets hammered. Hard.
And don’t worry, I have West German Territorials painted and ready to go and a Leopard 2 Panzer Brigade on the painting table. I am running this in a fairly narrative manner, so don;t be surprised if they make an appearance or if it spills over into a dozen games. If I hit a stopping point I will either have the West German Government collapse (a la Red Army) or a breakup of the Warsaw Pact and a coup in the Kremlin before nukes are launched (a la every other WW3 book written in the 80’s)
Yes, I will share the cards, I knocked them out last week, printed them, and mounted them on my favorite material, peel and stick vinyl floor tiles. Thanks for the compliments all. I will get them posted up tonight when I get home!

Reading it on the same device, both times: an ipad mini.
The first time, the font was all cursive and barely legible. Now it is in what looks like Comic Sans, which wouldn’t be my choice for a font, but at least it can be read!

Weird, I’ll chalk it up to a blogger issue. Mrs. Tin Man likes Comic MS, but I may fiddle with it to enhance readability.
Thanks for letting me know!
Just converted the asset acres from .docx to .pdf, will try to get it up tonight.

On my main machine, it looks like it is in Comic Sans. :/

Those are excellent! Mind if I add them to the official file download with due credit of course?
THe Cower marker made me laugh 🙂
What’s the purpose of the markers at the bottom?

Go for it, Ivan!
The bottom counters are basically 25mm by 5mm and are geared to be placed at the front or back of a base of troops. The little targeting reticule means a unit has taken up position for guard or reaction fire. The back indicates an entrenched unit.

Gotcha! I’ve added them as a download.
Good thinking on the entrenchment markers.
