As a follow up to my post about my British and Commonwealth for the early part of the war in the Far East this one focusses on the later years. Our recent playing of the Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy campaign ‘Opium Hill’ for Chain of Command was a good reminder of how the Far East theatre lends itself to skirmish and platoon level actions. With a Far East Handbook somewhere on the horizon I thought I’d pull together a post about what I’ve been making for this later stage of the war. Tremendous post, not only full of fascinating history information but also lots of photos with your great painting skills on display.

I was just perusing Peter Pig’s 14th army range yesterday, as I am just starting to read “Japan’s Last Bid for Victory, invasion of India 1944”.

Very, very interested to hear that a CoC far East book might be appearing!  This might be all too much for me to resist!
