Another car rolls out of the repaint garage for Gaslands, this time it’s a military themed sports-car. There’s a few more pictures on the blog:

Like it a lot!
At first I thought it would be a 3-wheeler, like a Robin or some such.

I sure hope so, you NEEEEED one! (just don’t turn to fast or it’ll dump over) And of course, you’ll need the RR’s arch nemesis: Mr Bean!

And (unlike early WW1 British planes) the driver has cleverly applied the rondels behind him, and not beside him, so that the rondels won’t be used as a lovely bullseye target, like those nasty Huns did. As an added bonus, it just might keep any potential backseat drivers quiet!
Looks very, very nice! The camo is a wonderful touch. I do quite like the armour you’ve added for the windows. Is that plasticard from model railroad supplies? I must try and find some.
Although…and forgive me for the criticism…but isn’t the driver’s vision slit on the wrong side for a British Bomber?14/11/2019 at 16:21 #126494
Thanks guys, Tony, yes it’s a sheet of thin plasticard. I think my mate found it in a Railway modellers shop, but you’ll easily get it on ebay or elsewhere. I have other sheets of embossed tiles, bricks, etc, this one looks like metal grilles, so suited perfectly! and, yes, you’re right the vision slit is on the wrong side. Maybe the driver just likes the RAF?

“Iron Crosses on the next one please!” LOL, I was going to put some on this one originally, but I couldn’t find any!

Thanks Catullus for the plasticard link! Speaking of decals, the last issue of Wargames Illustrated included a free sheet of decals from Warlord intended for their upcoming Judge Dredd game. But I think it would be ideal for Gaslands cars, buildings, barriers and billboards.17/11/2019 at 22:09 #126644MikeKeymaster18/11/2019 at 08:33 #126656
Tony, I did see those decals, but didn’t put two and two together! They are perfect for Gaslands.
