    The anniversaries of two of the better known actions of the 2nd French-Mexican war, the French Intervention in Mexico or the Maximilian Adventure – whatever you want to call it, fall within the same week

    The Foreign Legion’s stand at Camerone is 30th April 1863, and the Mexican repulse of the French army at Puebla is 5th May 1862

    We refought both using Bloody Big Battles
