Great show today! Busy but not too crowded, warm but not cooked, lots to see, lots to do, lots to buy and lots of people to meet.

Lots of 28mm stuff and not much in smaller scales. Lots of impressive set ups but nothing representing the scales I game in.

The SSAFA were once more running a tombola stall in aid of the charity.

Picked up a pile of pre-ordered stuff from Pendraken (thanks for those odd shaped custom MDF bits!) including some ruined Eastern Front houses and the lovely new “Mickey Mouse” T34/76s; won a bottle of Rose wine, Tumbling Dice’s Flames Above The Falklands (complete with aircraft), a mug and a cotton shopping bag from the SSAFA tombola; bought a pack of dogs from Warbases and a pack of 10mm cavemen from Magister Militum (10mm cavemen to be a Homo Floresiensis tribe for my 15mm “Tribal”/”Primeval” games). Pretty good haul, all in all.

Traders seemed happy with the day, which is always good.

Hats off to the organisers, as ever!

    Pictures here (I hope)

It’s Facebook but it’s set to Public so you shouldn’t need a FB account.
