With the aim of building armies for this Dark Age battle set outside dublin in 1014 AD, this is my first unit of Irish Warrior for Brian Boru’s army.
I’m basing them all up on 60x50mm bases so they can be used with a number of rules, To the Strongest and Hail Caesar being two of them. ๐

Nice job, excellent tones. I think there is an advantage to keeping some flexibility within the base size. I like what some people are doing with their Impetus 120mm bases – but I’m not sure how future proof that is.

They do look good. Did Paintpig ever finish his Great Heathen Army? I thought that was a great idea.
