Combat Patrol (TM): World War II is available from DriveThru Cards. Information about the game can be see here: http://www.bucksurdu.com/Buck_Surdu/Combat_Patrol.html
This page contains a video that shows how combat resolution is performed in Combat Patrol, as well as some freebies.
You need either Set A — OR — Set B to play the game. Owning both sets lets you run larger games. On the DriveThru site, you can download the basic rules for free as a pdf file. You can order the required cards from the site. The pdf linked to rules as a $5 download is the advanced and vehicular rules.
Go to the site, watch the video, and see what this is all about.

I also saw the other video on the side there, the one proclaiming how “the left” is destroying America. So that’s one set of rules I will *not* be buying.

That video was on YouTube, not on the Web site for the rules and not related to the rules or the topic. I have no control over what videos show up on the side. That is managed by some YouTube / Google robot.
It is too bad that will cause you to ignore a really nice set of rules because you disapprove of a position that just happened to be presented on the same page by Google, but you are entitled to your opinion. I spent over 30 years in the uniform of this nation to defend your right — and the rights of others around the world — to have and express their opinions freely. Apparently I am not entitled to my opinion — which is one of the points made in the video you disliked.
Just to make the point again, that video you disliked was not on the Web page for the rules, was not mentioned in the rules, and is not related to the rules. It was placed on the side by Google.
15/12/2015 at 20:53 #35683Nick the LemmingParticipantDude, it was a video you put up there. The poem one where you claim that “the left” are destroying America. You know, the one posted under the same name as the video you posted above?
I also never said you weren’t entitled to your opinion, however dubious it is, just as I’m entitled to my opinion that I won’t do business with right wing extremists. You’re free to put up whatever weird political screeds you like, you just aren’t entitled to be free of the consequences of doing so. One of those consequences is that I’m never going to do business with you because of your views.

Dude, one of the reasons I left TMP was because Bill decided to ban people from mentioning that the owner of Stafford Games was a neo-nazi (NF and BNP member, stood for parliament for them). If you’re going to have the same policy, you should let us know. I know a number of others who left TMP over that too.
15/12/2015 at 21:21 #35687MikeKeymasterTWW is a place to talk about gaming. Not to discuss political leanings. You have both made your point and that is fine. No need to continue the discussion around left vs right, socialism vs capitalism vs facism etc. You won’t buy the rules and that is fine. You have said why and that is fine. Continuing this discussion on either side is not fine. You disagree with each other. Point made move on, both parties. Otherwise it soon gets unpleasant and then no one wins.
