I finally finished some terrain in anticipation of more 5 parsecs games. I wanted to build an outpost a Little like Hadleys Hope but modular for storage. I came across Spacecows Tales from Farpoint blog and decided to try and use the modular hexagon paper mache boxes for my buildings. Here is the result.
Here is all the terrain packed up. Each building fits into the next. Same with the storage tanks.

The boxes are light and easy to paint. They can double as a storage facility or colony base.27/04/2020 at 00:41 #135399Shaun TraversParticipant
Very impressive. I am reusing WW2 terrain and stuff lying around the house for my 5 Parsecs game. I have a choice of terrain making or playing and while I do enjoy the former, the latter wins out!27/04/2020 at 15:57 #135453Darkest Star GamesParticipant
Hex buildings look proper sci-fi, and bonus on how you can store them.
And now that you have the stuff you can start gaming!

I am always impressed at not merely good looking terrain but darn clever storage and transport.

And the paper mache boxes can be textured, if that’s what you’re after:

Very cool and nice paint job.
Tired is enough.
