ParticipantDoes anyone have an alternative e-mail address for Rapier other than: [email protected] or indeed a telephone number as they do not list one on their site. I placed a small order a couple of weeks back and other than the auto generated receipt I have heard nothing from them, despite 2 e-mails enquiring as when dispatch is likely to be. I really don’t want to start a paypal dispute over such a small order but the lack of communication is beginning to irk. Any help greatly appreciated

ParticipantI’ve bought quite a bit from Rapier. They are great guys who make great 6mm figures but speedy they are not. Don’t think I’ve ever had a delivery in less than a month from ordering but on the other hand I’ve never had an order they didn’t fulfil. I think the figures are worth the wait – YMMV!

ParticipantI have to agree with Mike Headden – Rapier do some nice stuff, but their delivery times are erratic to say the least. I have had orders arrive a week after being placed, and other take three months. The figures are great, customer service/communication is a bit iffy (putting it mildly). That said, orders have always arrived eventually, and I will continue to order from Rapier whereever their stuff is better or more convenient than Baccus.

ParticipantThanks for the info guys, I have only ever picked up stuff from them at Joy of Six, this is my first time mail ordering, its only been a couple of weeks so I don’t mind giving them more time now I know its not unusual.

ParticipantThank you for the information, Mike Headden and Nic Wright. I placed an order with Rapier about a couple of weeks ago and am currently suffering from the ”I placed an order at 5 PM last night and I still haven’t received the figures even though it is nearly 9.30 AM” syndrome. The weird thing is that it is likely to be next summer before I paint them. Patience is not just for solo card games!

ParticipantApologies to all for any delays on orders, yes I can be erratic on fulfilment, partly that the 6mms are contract cast and partly that I can just be slow.
I really am sorry and it is something that is being addressed .
Current delays and backlogs are due to the fact that I have just moved house again at short notice, so my internet appearances have been much less than normal, and I have misplaced some of the stock (Assyrians and wheels to Egyptian chariots). Added to that I have been working hard to fulfil all the accrued orders with the time I have had.
All I can do is apologise again.
Stephan @ Rapier
p.s Just noticed the lack of a phone number on the website, I thought it was there. It is in the paper catalogues.
