ParticipantMany of you may have heard of it, to some it may be new.
Years ago, I embarked on a campaign to create an imagi-nation that was tackling very serious, real world issues in the hear and now. The pseudo-Balkan Kingdom of Alcovia was blogged about consistently for several years, though ti has laxed in recent years due to other interests and less gaming.
If you would like to check it out, head over to the blog here – alcovia.blogspot.com
Thanks,

ParticipantEli,
Awesome!!! You Sir, need to get back to work, this is amazing. I spent several hours last night ‘catching up’ on the story, and need more. I joined your blog.

ParticipantJack,
I do hope to get back into this.
I’ve got several models and a load of minis to try to get started with.
Thanks for reading it and investing in Alcovia’s conflict.

ParticipantEli,
Fantastic, I’m glad you’re back! I saw your post today regarding 15mm stuff, can’t wait to see it hit the table. You’ve got a really cool concept, and while right now I’m working on a different type (modern French Foreign Legion extinguishing fires worldwide), I do intend on getting around to an Alcovia-type scenario to pit my loads of microarmor against itself in a dramatic civil war.
Hang in there; I can certainly identify with:
1) Real Life getting in the way
2) Being a wargaming butterfly, AKA, having too many different projects going on
3) Spending quite a bit of time recording everything for prosperity via the blog, and wanting the world to show at least a bit of interest.Sadly I can only help with that last part, but I assure you I’ve found it interesting, entertaining, and inspirational. You’re batrep with the SOF guys sneaking around on the mountain trying to dodge the bad guys is mostly to blame for my recent purchase of some Elhiem 20mm modern figures!

ParticipantI cannot take credit for that batrep. That was done by one of the other contributors at the time. For a brief bit I had others spinning tales of Alcovia. Sad truth is that most of the gaming in the setting WAS NOT done by me.
There is much to do. If I get some fights in for Alcovia, I’ll definitely post them.
