At a bit of a loose end tonight, I started work on a plane to go with my cuties. Lots more work to do on it, but the general shape is there apart from the cockpit.
The figure is just for scale, a proper pilot figure will follow if I like the plane when it’s done. Flying helmet, goggles and silk scarf probably. π
Correct, the half eggs that form the body of the plane are from Hobbycraft, the rest is cut from 2mm MDF. π
I’m wondering if I could make a mould from it to cast in resin, to be filled through the tail? There won’t be any areas where the resin would have to flow uphill, so it might be a possibility. That would be the difference between one or two ground support aircraft or multi plane dogfights.
I love your creativity Vicki !!!! This look like fun !!!!
I’m in for the dogfights!!!
On a side note, you’re insane! π
Merry Christmas, Vicki! Hope you have a wonderful holiday.

Just Jack means that in a good way Vicki !!!!
I decided to make a bomber too and I’ve started adding Milliput to it and the fighter.
(And this is how I spend my Christmas Day lol)
Cool!
Wowzer !!!!
That’s no bomber that’s a Beaufighter. π
Your planes are far from plain. Indeed, with this idea I think you’re taking off & reaching new heights.
Anyway, I should stop droning on…

I made a pilot to go with my still not yet completed aircraft. π
How cool is that !!! I admire your talent !!!
Wow I love it!!!

Too cool! I like it a lot! The pseudo Polish markings are grand.
Cheers and good gaming.
