Anyone got a painting guide for 1940 Danes?
Thanks!
I have the Osprey that covers them, but since I’m currently in bed about to go to sleep it’ll have to wait until tomorrow! In the meantime a Google search will bring up several colour plates, often the very ones from the aforementioned Osprey book!

It appears that officers and Warrant officers wore a khaki service uniform, the M1923. There was an enlisted man’s version of this uniform too, but in 1940 most enlisted men wore the M1915 light grey service uniform.

The older gear and boots associated with the gray uniforms was black leather, while the newer khaki uniform was accompanied by brown leather equipment and boots.
In case anyone is interested, there’s a film called April 9th which features the German invasion – and is an excellent resource!
