Its 75 years since the battle of Denmark Strait and the loss of HMS Hood. I’m uessing like many naval wargamers around the world I decided to mark the occasion with a refight. The AAR is on my blog. In this case the historical result was not achieved……

Good report. Thanks for sharing. We stood on the spot where the Hood went down in 2008. No, I don’t walk on water, we were on a cruise ship. A chap on the ship was the son of one of the crew on Hood, so the captain stopped us on the spot where she went down to hold a service and lay a wreath. Very moving.
