ParticipantI am looking for some transport for my 15mm Khurasan Miniatures DEVGRU operators, pictured below. I was considering these Panther Command vehicles from Evil Bear Wargames, but as DEVGRU are American spec ops I was hoping to find something ultra modern American to provide transport. Any thoughts?
A bit more on the DEVGRU on my blog.

ParticipantThese are rather ‘nifty’……

Or stick with the Hi-lux pick ups available ‘locally’ wherever that might be!

ParticipantA damaged helicopter like in Operation Neptune Spear?

ParticipantMA – You are correct of course, but for table top gaming I thought I might stretch the envelope a bit and give them some sort of “cool” vehicle for transport.
GR – In looking at the MRAP…looks less cool than I had hoped for.
Maybe I should be asking about 1/100th scale Blackhawks! But I still do like the look of those Evil Bear Panthers. 🙂
Found this silent Hawk:

ParticipantRebel Minis MATV Comanche?
Big and chunky, looks mean too………. as an Oshkosh stand in.

ParticipantI snatched a relatively cheap (a dozen bucks, IIRC) Italeri 1/100 diecast “MH-X Silent Hawk” on ebay a couple of month ago…
But for the kind of games I play in 15mm, a chopper is more of a terrain feature than a actual gaming piece, so I went for a couple of the Rebel Minis MATV Comanche “not-Oshkosh M-ATV)…
I explained it away by making up my own fictional USSOCOM unit (I’m quite into imagi-nations and made up “not-this” and “not-that”) inspired by Tom Clancy “Ghost Recon” Group for Specialized Tactics (GST, hence “ghost”)…
I called them Special Target Reconnaissance teams (SpecTR -> “Specter”) and inspired myself form US Army Long Range Surveillance (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_Range_Surveillance) units but dialing the badassery on 11 to put them in the same league as DEVGRU.
Any scenario I play calling for whatever US SF unit now see them replaced by Specter teams!
