Loss of old computer included the loss of a program that would generate results from the roll of any number of dice and variable results (eg: % matching or >< target #).
The hole in my memory says “small dice roller” but Google says I’m wrong – no surprise there.
Anyone know what I’ve forgotten and/or recommend something similar?
I use something, probably at least once a week since 2003, a program called SmallRoller .exe
I did a quick search, webpage is now 404 but still available at the Internet Archive for download (and it has screenshots to see if it the one you remember):

I love this program.
That’s it! Many thanks! I owe you one.

They are watching your rolls!

Love it how old programs are still used – I’ve been using the DuckDuckGo hack at odd times (normally game set-up with my dice being elsewhere) as its a web based one but still love the feeling of the dice and the action of the roll.
I actually never use it to roll dice for a game – I only use it for determining dice rolling probabilities. I am always changing my own rules and so always need to work out the probabilities with the changes!

That. -and being able to provide players/playtesters with the %s of the options if they’re inclined to know a bit more of what’s ‘under the hood’.
