Just felt like having wind in my hair so took the donkeys for a spin.
The short video ended up highlighting 3 major problems with DCS particularly WW2 DCS.
1. Idiotic AI. 190s come in at high speed but instead of attacking the bombers and climb away, they end up in a super slow turn fight with the I-16. Literally no reason for them to do do so. 2 of the 190s actually get shot down by the donkeys. And 5 out of 7 of the I-16s were on lowest quality AI.
2. The ludicrous amount of damage the WW2 aircraft can take.
And 3, the lack of splash damage from bombs. 48 500lb bombs fall around a train and it’s undamaged. Even the wooden carriages. Seem unfazed about being with the kill zone of the bombs.
