Do people here use any of the features, such as the Clubs or Manufacturers databases?

I have used the manufacturers directory, but with neither regularity nor frequency.

BTW – ‘SUBMIT’ at the bottom is too faint/white on white, so it has taken me ages to find it!

Yeah the forum software had an upgrade, I am looking at sorting that button.

Never used those features, but you know how it is, once you remove something someone will want to use it.

True, the manufacturers is handy but most people just ask in the forums, which is fine and actually better as it gets conversations going..

To be honest I’ve not used either.

I find the adverts or posts more use for manufacturers and clubbing is out currently.

Hello Mike,

I don’t use either.  I know of my local clubs and I don’t buy much stuff these days  When I did I would find it easier to to an internet search for reviews and recommendations.

Having created a post, I saw that I had clicked ‘reply’ on the wrong post, so it made no sense.   But I can’t see an option to delete my post.  ‘Edit’ won’t let me make an empty post, so I’m posting this!

I preferred the ‘old layout’ as it was much easier to see. Like others, I spent many minutes trying to find the ‘submit’ button that is barely visible.

Indeed, I mentioned above I am looking into that.
The forum software was upgraded and it has resulted in some changes.
I can instantly bring back the old button, but then the WYSIWYG toolbar vanishes…
Which is considerably worse.

Now to post what I wanted to write.

I noticed the change in appearance of topics recently.  The previously ‘clean’ appearance was replaced by a very ‘busy’ page, with sidebars left and right which, IMHO, add nothing for me, but actually detract from the experience.  The reason I’m on that page, to read the post, has become compressed into the centre.

I too spent a little while looking for a button to press to submit my post above.  Glad to hear that you’ll be changing it Mike.

I will see what I can do regards the forum width.
It has the menu on the left where previously it did not.

That is a job for Monday though.
