It has been a long time coming, but having finally put my SYW collection to bed (2600 figures later) I’ve managed to get started on my Peninsular Project. Last year and this I did some reading and planning. I even tied myself to the project (I always do this so there is no way out) by buying in 30 Kg (66 lbs) of lead from Front Rank – about sixty units. This week I finished the first unit, the lead pile is diminishing at last. And here it is, 1st Battalion KGL. Here are two shots of it, the second one shows how they look after someone kindly pointed out that KGL backpacks are blue not black.
I hope you like the start to this project. My first mission is 1st Division 1811.

A very solid start to an ambitious project. All success to you!
