I was just wondering which of these games people preferred for RPG-lite games where sometimes the action takes place in ‘normal’ environments, sometimes in ‘dungeon’ type environments?  Or do the two games integrate?

I rarely play game as written so my memory is hazy, and I haven’t played the latest 3E version of 5Leagues.
For me Dungeon scum feels more RPG while 5Leagues is more narative wargame. They’re not compatible unless you’re like me and use 5Leagues campaign systems for everything.

I think you can play either in dungeons or open. They both do very similar things but feel different. As above Dungeon Scum feels more like an RPG to me, while 5Leagues is more like an open world Mordhiem. 5Leagues also gives more room for character stats progression while Dungeon Scum is very abstracted.
