    I’m going to have to ask an impudent question: Any chance the lions could be had separately, cheaper than the full set of lions + women? I understand completely if that’s not possible (maybe because the lions and handlers come in the same mould or something). The issue for me is simply that I already have more 28mm miniatures of topless warrior women than I know what to do with (and I’ve begun to question why I got so many in the first place, so evidently my tastes in miniatures have been changing) but those lions are the best I’ve ever seen, especially for fantasy/pulp purposes. So I have to ask.

    The lions will absolutely be available separately after the KS, but for the purposes of this Kickstarter I’m keeping them as a set of four figures.  It just makes inventory and sorting easier – and, also, as you suspected, they’re in equal numbers on the mold.

    Although I did just talk with Tre Manor today – he’s going to do conversions of the lions to make a couple of saber-toothed variants, so those are coming in the near future.

    Tell you what – the lions will be $12 each regularly – but if you really want to add them to your Kickstarter then just add $11 per lion to your pledge & send me a message after it all wraps up to remind me.  I’d be happy to sell you a set at the discount.

    I’ll offer that here as my special “Wargames Website Forum Only” deal!

    The new stretch goal is neat.

    To qualify for getting the free pet lizard and statue, does one have to have pledged specifically for one of the “merchant and guards” sets at $21 or more, or is it enough to have pledged for the merchant at $7 and then added $14+ in other purchasable add-ons?

    As long as the total of miniatures you have ordered is over $21 (or over $45 for the shields), you’ll get the stretch goal items, too.

    Just finalised the order on Backerkit, and also added a delectable Pterroman for good measure. Shipping turned out a bit heavier of a blow than expected, but I realise now that I may have had unrealistic expectations on that front given that I ordered the massive Entelodonts among other things. And anyway, I was committed to making this pledge/purchase knowing full well that shipping from Alaska to Europe was always going to be costly (and I wasn’t entirely kidding about living on rice and furikake for a while, so my budget is just about managing). The figures are that desirable to me – plus it’s fun to say I’ve ordered stuff from the interior of Alaska!

    Sadly, international shipping is painful from Alaska.

    Maybe I can find something Alaskan to add to the package, Rhoderic, to make it sting a little less  🙂

    Just a quick heads up to say that mine arrived safely in deepest darkest Oz this week. Lovely clean mouldings with bags of individual character. They look like they’ll be fun to paint up.

    I’m still slogging through the international shipping.

    I thought, I really thought, that I’d done enough preparation & research before I launched this KS.  I’ve been selling things online for years, I’ve had some big orders and some times that I thought were fairly busy… but, MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN, I was wrong.  I’ve had a couple of screw-ups, but I think that I’ve finally got a handle on them all.

    I just might be able to get the last of the international packages in the mail tomorrow!

    I’m very happy that yours arrived safe and sound, and that you like the figures!

    I’ll do better with my next KS 🙂

    Oh ya, international shipping is a killer right now.  I was lucky in that the KS I did was all shipped out 2 days before the big rate hike, it would have made a major impact in a very bad way…  Many KS bomb because of shipping, and it can be hard to calculate.  Glad you’re getting through it without losing your shirt!
