    I’m converting some Museum Miniatures 1/300th scale Fw190 A8’s into A4’s for my WW2 air warfare project.

    This involves removing the cannon blisters then painting them up as III/JG2 fighters c1943.

    The plan is to use them for more scenario writing for Bag the Hun, possibly to appear in the Xmas Special at the end of the year.

    Oh man, having to get rid of those blisters must be a chore!  End result looks well worth it though.  Very nice.

    Yep it is a bit of a fiddle, not so much in carving and sanding them off as making sure other bits don’t get carved and sanded at the same time!

    …or that the fuselage doesn’t end up looking a bit ‘cubist’

    Hopefully, the end will justify the means?
