Six months ago I ‘put my foot down with a firm hand’ and mentally banned myself for starting any new wargames projects…

OK, maybe only a small skirmishy-type project.  Absolutely no mass armies…

    Yeah…

So here’s my new ACW project…

“Absolutely NO More New Wargame Projects!”… [6 Months Later]… My New 10mm ACW Project! 🙂

I know your pain with starting new projects, 😁 However, they are really nicely painted. Congratulations.

10mm is the way to go for ACW. I absolutely agree and I’ve been going down the same path. Though, I did decide to go with ‘Longstreet’ for the rules. Not that I’ve played a game yet…. Great painting on your figures.

Cheers chaps!  Detailed stuff on the units coming later.  And the Rebs just arrived in the post today!

I need another period like a hole in the head but those Cracker Line 10mm have always called to me.

They do look good.  Does anyone carry them in the UK?

Anyway, my first Union corps is finished:

Now you guys are just being plain evil reminding me of my stalled ACW with Cracker Line figures. Shame! Shame!

The first batch of 33 Pendraken 10mm Rebs is done.  I’m happy with them and they weren’t too painful.  They took around 50% longer to paint than the Union infantry, but I was expecting them to take at least twice as long, so that’s ok.

The next batch is nearly done and is in lighter shades of grey.  The third batch will be in butternut browns and then I’ll mix them all up before basing.

I can’t see the full photos, some sort of strange grey thing overlaying them.

Hmmm… Sounds like an over-active ‘net-nanny’ to me.  I get the same problem on the work computer – it classes almost all wargames websites as ‘games’ (confusing them with computer games, which are obviously banned in work) and then blocks those sites, as well as any hot-linked photos.  It also blocks all photo-hosting sites.
