They look really good, sir.  I appreciate the in-depth research you have done as well as the explanations of the different variants.

Cheers DSG.  I thought I may as well explain all the variants, especially as TY seem to have got a bit mixed up re the FOO variant and it’s an easy fix if you already have spare M113 bits.

Cheers KB!  I forgot to mention on the blog that the YPR models are exquisite in terms of modelling and casting.  I’m tempted to say that they’re among the best I’ve ever seen.

    A shame then about the infantry… 🙁

Yeah, to be honest green is green… I tend to go nuts painting the flags on their shoulders and whatnot, but that’s just the Napoleonic wargamer in me trying to get out… Until you take a photo and blow them up on the screen, the differences are VERY minor.

I’m very, very surprised that TY didn’t do Belgians while they were at it.  The Belgians wore essentially the same uniform as the Dutch, used the same smallarms as the Dutch (FN FAL and FN MAG), used much the same vehicles as the Dutch (AIFV), Germans (Leopard 1, Jagdpanzer & Gepard), USA (M113) and British (Land Rovers and all the CVR(T) variants) and the same air support as the French (Mirage V and Alpha-Jet).  Virtually everything is already there!  All they need to do is to add a MILAN team in US M1 helmet and an infantry platoon pack without LAWs and with Blindicide instead of Carl-Gustav and they’ve got Belgians as another option.

Yep, too late…I totally forgot I had bought a Dutch infantry platoon from PSC a couple of months ago. Just got to buy some YPRs and I am set. Trying to decide if I want to go cheap with Butler’s Printed Models (which has a lot of banding on the printed out kit and a lot of flash to remove) or more costly with PSC or QRF. I won’t do Team Yankee as I don’t need five vehicles nor do I like their pricing model.
