So, this morning at our weekly meeting, a fellow member of the club made a comment describing his generalship on the tabletop.  He was self deprecating his leadership but I think it defines my level of skill as a miniature general rather well!

He said that when he commands his armies, it is rather like watching an ant farm.

There is lots of random scurrying of little fellows, no one seems to obey him, but ultimately it is fascinating to witness!

Just love that witty observation and had to share!  And for the record, he won his game.

    My sentiments entirely!

I look at my little chaps all set up, serried ranks ready and determined to do their best for their illustrious Captain, and think…

“God help you down there lads, ‘cos you’ll not get much gumption from up here!”

"Wot did you do in the war Grandad?"

"I was with Harry... At The Bridge!"
