I got home today to find the new PSC Great War board game waiting for me (it’s been there since Tuesday, but I was working away). So in this new blog post, I present a box opening!

Nice figures, but I have no interest in the game.

Fair enough, I like the idea of a quick set-up WW1 game and this is it!

Horses for courses! I also have Square Bashing for larger sale WW1 and Through the Mud and the Blood for skirmish level stuff. It seems like my First War gaming is expanding rapidly…

Interesting looking game, thanks for sharing.  Though why PSC have not done similar for WW2 is a bit strange but expansion is the secret of good business.  What scale are the figures, they look like 15mm in the photo’s.

Thanks William, I think was designed to coincide with the centenary, maybe there are plans afoot for WW2. But then PSC already have ties with the Battlegroup sets of rules, so it may seem like going over old ground. I should have mentioned, the figures are 15mm!
