ParticipantHats off to Michael and the team on their 8th year Anniversary – just saw the rather humble message on the TWW updates board – congratulations on another successful year (I know, I know, full on fan-boi mode…..) – it struck me the other day how much value we subscribers gain from the commitment and work of the forum founders – think of all the interest, fun, diversion and entertainment we experience because they had the vision to give us a place to yack on about toy soldiering……. Tea and Medals all round, I say !
Her Maj QEII might be having a Jubilee this year, but I look forward to celebrating the one for The Wargames Website soon as well !

ParticipantWow eight years, where has the time gone. A ten year anniversary wargame show day / weekend Bristol area worth a thought? I would be up for putting on a game.
Well done Mike for your idea of this forum, it has grown into a vibrant wargaming community and information hub.
You have been awarded “The best wargaming Forum” award for “Enjoyment and Enlightenment” . The cheque is in the post😁.

ParticipantI must add to the good wishes and thanks. I have not been apprehensive to post here, as the reaction is never as it can be in some other places, so thanks to Mr and Mrs S, and all the civil folks here.

Participant8 years? Wow, felt like about two. Congrats Mike on running a civil wargaming site, and for showing that it’s not compulsory to descend into a toxic pit of despair.

ParticipantSix years and four months a member. Nice. Thanks for this safe, inspiring space. My switch to 6mm and also foray into sci fi was entirely thanks to this site.
