I discovered the Wargames Website looking for info about Horizon Wars…
I’m really excited about trying it out and promptly ordered a small British Battlegroup at Brigade Models (British vehicles) and Ground Zero Games (NAC infantry)…

One thing I like very much is that the small scale hasn’t lead to an explosion of mini count
I like this too.
But then I would…
🙂
I always overprepare for every game, by nature. I had difficulty holding my Bugs army for HW down to 18 models.
Actually if Doing a near future british themed Sci Fi force, look here for ideas (no mecha though)

You would, wouldn’t you? 😀

@Lanse
Yeah, tell me about it… And that’s after I’ve been agonizing for weeks over precisely what faction to play (even if there is none defined in the game), what minis to use for it and what kind of unit mix to buy!
This time, and thanks to relatively small model count, I went “what the hell” and just ordered (1 command tank, 6 heavy tanks and 6 APC, 3 of everything other vehicle and 1 pack of each infantry, skimmers and PA). Maybe this time, I’ll actually finish a project!

@Fredd
Nice models, and perfect SM/Epic minis…
But the gothic look isn’t what I’m looking for for this project.
Thanks for the link though! Bookmarked for future reference!

I like the FV432 apc type and the Royal Marines in berets.
