I am sure this has been covered many times before, but I suppose I have missed the answer.

How can I post a photo that I take from my phone or computer? The only method for posting photos that I have found is from a website with an url address. My work isn’t always on a website. This would sort of negate WW exclusives, would it not?

I’ve found that whilst I can post one photo easily enough, I’m unable to find a way to add two or more (as others clearly do) to a post.  I use an iPad mini, and I can’t find any way to get a cursor to appear at the bottom right of the photo I’ve added so that I can hit return and make a space for a further photo.  Tapping in the area that I’d like the cursor to appear just ‘selects’ the photo I’ve uploaded, and if I hit return the image gets deleted.

Try leaving an extra blank paragraph below the one where you insert the picture, before you insert it.

Or flick to the text tab. Hit return the flick back to the visual tab.

Test of hitting return twice before inserting photo

The ‘hit return twice’ tactic seems to work, but the size of the image also seems to affect where or if the cursor appears.  The two smaller ones were ok, but the large image caused problems.  The trouble is that all images appear the same size in my photo library, and because it’s a tablet I can’t get any image information by right clicking on them.  Still it’s a step forward.  Thanks.

if you change the dimensions in here it may help, make the image say 800 wide and then the cursor will fit?

OK, but since I cannot determine the dimensions of the photo beforehand, how can I tell what value to put in the second box in order to maintain the correct aspect ratio?  Or does just putting 800 in the first box take care of that?

Test of 800 in the first box.

800 should make it smaller than the input window, thus allowing you to tap the screen next to it.

Doesn’t seem to make it smaller, but it answers the question about aspect ratio.

    I’ll try 300.

    Now that is better.
